The 2014 Grammy Awards took place a few hours ago at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles.The star-studded event  featured performances from the world’s most talented artists such as Madonna, Taylor Swift, Jay Z and Beyonce, and more. 

This year, Jay Z led the list of nominations with nine nods, followed by Kendrick Lamar, Macklemore & Lewis, Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake, who have all received seven nods each.
This year’s highly anticipated performance which viewers were most excited for is power couple Jay Z and Beyonce’s duet.

Nominees up for Song of the Year are Pink ft Nate Ruess’ “Just Give Me a Reson,” Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven,” Katy Perry’s “Roar,” Lorde’s “Royals,” and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis ft. Miranda Lambert’s “Same Love.”
