Not many people know that Chimamanda Adichie (Award winning Nigerian writer) is married. Well, she is happily married to Ivara Esege, a medical doctor. She describes him as Nigerian, American and British. 

Chimamanda herself was in medical school (University of Nigeria) for a year and a half before moving to the US at the age of 19. (The above picture was taken at the Farafina Literary Evening in Lagos).
