Veteran Bollywood actress,Sridevi dies at 54
Her brother in-law Sanjay Kapoor confirmed the news to the Indian Express. Sridevi and her family were in United Arab Emirates for a wedding and she was with her husband,producer Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi at the time of her death.
Sridevi was one of India most celebrated actresses,she starred in more than 300 movies,and also won scores of awards for her excellent performance.Her starring role in 1987 adventure film,Mr India earned her superstar status in South Asia.The star actress worked in Tamil,Malayalam and Kannada films before debuting in Hindi films.
She is survived by her husband,Boney Kapoor,and daughters Jhanvi and Khushi.
