\ Nollywood Actress Ngozi Nwosu, who battled kidney and heart ailment for a while, turned 50 on August 1 and to celebrate her, Best of Nollywood Ventures threw her a little shindig with her friends and colleagues in attendance. The party held yesterday Wednesday August 21 at the Eagles Park, Obokun Close in Ikeja. I hear two more parties are being organized for her. One on Friday and another one on Sunday.. Happy Birthday dear.

First it was reported that Tope Alabi’s spiritual father Pastor Iretiola Ajanaku had died on Sunday morning. Now word is that the man has been resurrected. According to reports, nurses were preparing him for the morgue when he suddenly woke up and shouted ‘Thank you Jesus’ then relapsed into another spiritual slumber. The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, has been rated the best university in Nigeria and number eight in Africa in the latest webometric ranking. The university’s news bulletin issued on Tuesday contained this information quoting the new Webometric rating by Cybermetric Lab of Spain, a renowned research council world over. In the publication it was noted that the council rated OAU higher on the ladder from number 14 to eight in Africa. Wizkid also known as Ayodeji Balogun was stoned today by angry fans at the VFS Global Services, Lekki phase 1 over the Azonto Crooner’s arrogant attitude and his refusal to part away with some naira notes. This, despite the much accolades he got from the cheering crowd who were so elated to catch a glimpse of their Superstar.
